The Holidays are coming up (for those of us states-side). What will folks be drinking? I’ve got a bottle of Buffalo Trace that I plan to infuse with bacon. I’ll have pics and maybe even some video of that early next week.

- Dubber (of Dubber and Clutch) goes to Holland and tried the only Frisian single malt – the Frysk Hynder 3 year old.
- Scotch Hobbyist samples Laphroaig’s Cairdeas 2009 and Batch 001 of Laphroaig’s 10 Year Cask Strenth.
- Tasting in reverse? John Hansell of Malt Advocate wants your thoughts on Macallan’s “Fine Oak” line.
- Whisky Fun cracks open three very old Glenlivets and five independent bottlings of Caol Ila.
- Whisky Intelligence (as always) has multiple reviews of some great independent bottlings. Here are their thoughts on a Strathisla 48 from Gordon & MacPhail, as well as a Clynelish 10 Sherry Cask, Bunnahabhain 31, Glenturret 13, and Laphroaig 18, all from Dewar Rattry.
