Best in Blog #9: Tasting Notes and Whisky News on the Web
Jeebus it’s getting harder and harder to keep up with these roundups. But that just means that more folks are tasting and more things are shaking in the whisky world. So all in all it’s a good thing and I’ve just got to do the best I can summarizing it all. Here’s what’s up this week:

They’ve also got a few things to say about the Original Glenmorangie, and of course we concur with their assessment that Ardbeg 10 year is a bottle that should be on every whisky shelf. Finally, here’s their thoughts on Edradour 10. Damn y’all must have been drunk this week!

- Also dabbling in American Whiskey, John Hansell of Malt Advocate tastes two experimental whiskies from Buffalo Trace.
- Scotch Hobbyist tastes a Laphroaig 30 year old, and calls it “a nose to die for.” Also check out his review of Whisky Samples, a great way to get cheap tastes of some pricey scotches.
